Touring Toronto Together by MiLisa on Einzelbilder.info

Early April, my companion and I traveled to Toronto, Canada. It was my first time visiting the city and so we made sure to visit popularized areas leaving room for exploration.  Although my partner is not vegan, he is open to broadening his dietary palette.  We ate well and enjoyed our trip. Please enjoy the video for a recap of our adventure.

Highlights:

Graffiti Alley (not in video)

(mall, LUSH is there)

Nathan Phillips Square

Queens West (the vegan poutine was quite good and so was the chocolate covered banana ice cream at )

(the nature connection of veganism)

in Parkdale, an in-your-face vegan restaurant!!!!

Another nice spot to visit is Lakeshore Boardwalk/Sunnyside Beach (not in video)

I’d like to add a few meals not included in the video.

The first is (North York location)! I love pizza and here they have a vegan option (daiya cheese). I topped it with veggies and pineapples. Very yummy!

Another night, we got takeout from . I liked that the restaurant was on the 2nd floor and there was a nice view of busy Yonge Street below. However, there weren’t any vegan options, but the hostess was kind enough to alter the menu. I ordered a rice bowl replacing the meat with tofu and the egg with kimchi. I also got a tea with sweet potato!

Our last meal in T.O. was at . I got a salad with veggie burger pieces, corn, beans, and sauce with a slushie to drink! Good fuel for the trip back home.

Also while taking in the North American, we patronized a few of the billion !

It was a great experience and will definitely return to Toronto and other parts of Canada!
